First post in a new blog! It’s exciting! Kind of like opening up a new book (or an old one for that matter) And taking a big wiff of the pages. Except if I were to take a such a large breath over my desk there would be a lot of crumbs in my nose. And that is not a pleasent experience. So let’s get right doen to it!
My name is Michael Phillips, and I currently attend The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. I live with 4 of my friends on campus, but with all of our signifigant others that practically live with us, we get crowded really quickly. But everyone gets along.
One of the best things about the on campus apartments is the kitchen that comes with them. It’s great to be able to eat my own food again instead of what they food us when we’re first years in the Greenery, our Cafeteria.
I was pretty much raised in the kitchen. I’ve spent the vast majority of my life with my grandmother, and in her kitchen, and I’ve been helping her bake since I could walk. (even though all the help I was then was to like the spoons and bowls clean. It was still Ok by me.) Now I do much more than bake. I spend most of my time in the kitchen here, as two at least two of my roommates. Things can get messy 🙂
Right now I’m in a class that allows me to make the buisness plans I need to open my own restaurant, and this blog will help me condence my ideas, but the main reason for creating this blog was to spread my creations around the web and get some feedback.
Anyway, I want to thank all me future and currant readers right now, and hope that you’ll stick with me on this journey.
